Job Description

Our Client is looking for a Manager of Compensation and Benefits working closely with the Director of Human Resources.

Manager of Compensation and Benefits will lead the compensation, benefits and wellness teams in the design, development, and implementation of efficient and effective compensation and benefits programs.

Responsibilities:

Analyze the effectiveness of existing compensation policies, guidelines, and procedures, recommending plan revisions, as well as new plans which are cost effective drives implementation and provides guidance to Sr. Executives.

Partner closely with company leaders on a variety of compensation and benefits matters.

Provide expert input and guidance to senior management on programs that are competitive in the industry.

Provide recommendations to Sr. Executives, Management and HR staff on pay decisions, policy and guidelines interpretation and job evaluation, including the design of creative solutions to specific compensation-related programs.

  • Manage the merit and bonus processes and makes program design recommendations based on relevant market data.
  • Oversee benefit plan contract negotiation meetings with vendors.

Experience with: FMLA, FLSA, FMLA, ERISA, OSHA, USERRA, COBRA, PPACA, EGTRRA, HIPAA,

  • Recommend and help implement enhancements to benefits and compensation modules in the HRIS.
  • Onboarding new employees for all benefits matters.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree; Masters preferred; Professional Certification (PHR/SPHR)
  • 8+ years of management experience in compensation and benefits
  • Knowledge of HRIS modules and systems
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
