Vaco Resources Senior Consulting practice provides elite, senior-level finance and accounting professionals on a project and consulting basis including Interim CFOs, Controllers, Audit Managers, Tax Professionals, and more.

Position Summary:

The Executive Resources Manager of Client Services position within our Vaco Resources Senior Consulting practice will be responsible for new business development, strategic account and relationship management. The successful candidate will engage all appropriate levels of management to develop opportunities to increase and expand our client base and scope of services with both existing accounts and new prospects.

This individual works directly with Vaco team members and recruiters so good communication and teamwork is a must.

The Manager of Client Services manages job requisition activity, client interaction and provides special additional support where required. As an integral part of the Vaco team, the Manager of Client Services is at the "front of spear" seeking out and developing long term business relationships with senior-level decision makers.

Our ideal Manager of Client Services candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit, pace and intensity, and an aptitude for long-term relationship building. Pedigree in finance and accounting - such as a CPA, MBA, or senior-level background in finance or accounting is highly desirable.

    • Planning/Organizing ‐ Prioritizes and plans work activities; Uses time efficiently; Plans for additional resources; Sets goals and objectives.

Technical Skills:

  • Must have working knowledge of MS Office Suite
  • Experience with Bullhorn preferred.

Basic Skills:

Able to work with a sense of urgency and meet tight deadlines; Organized, detailed, and results‐ driven. Must be able to manage time effectively and work independently without direct supervision.


  • Bachelor's degree required. CPA, MBA, CMA or related designation preferred but not required.
  • Five (5) years of experience as Business Development in the Staffing Industry experience required.
