Position Description

SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting team is adding a new Manager to the team, responsible for the following:

  • Preparation of SEC compliant financial statements, including cash flow statement, statement of equity, and footnote disclosures
  • Complete monthly global financial statement consolidation; maintain consolidation and financial reporting systems.
  • Directly interact with the Company's international and US businesses during the monthly close process, providing guidance and ensuring consolidated books are closed and financial statements are accurately and completely presented.
  • Preparation of quarterly and annual statements of cash flows and equity and subsidiary financial statements.
  • Review and assist in the preparation of covenant compliance calculations associated with the company's credit agreement.
  • Interact with external auditors in completing the quarterly reviews and annual audits of the SEC financials.
  • Assist in the company's annual and triggering event impairment testing.
  • Direct and assist in the accounting for stock-based compensation.
  • Maintain documentation supporting SOX compliance.
  • Manage the filing of various government financial surveys.
  • Review and assist in the preparation of documentation and SEC filing support required for debt, equity and other special transactions.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • CPA required
  • Public accounting audit experience required - Big 4 strongly preferred
  • 5+ years of relevant accounting experience including experience in SEC reporting and global consolidations
  • Familiarity with SEC regulations and reporting requirements
  • Experience managing staff in a collaborative team environment
  • Strong U.S. GAAP foundation including understanding of recent GAAP standards
  • Experience in researching and documenting GAAP issues and conclusions
  • Strong Excel skills
