Managing Director, Identity and Access Management

The Vaco Cyber Security team's success relies on the trusted relationships built with our clients. Our information security specialists work closely with organizations to provide the solutions that best match business and security objectives.

YOUR ROLE

Although no two days at Vaco are the same, your duties as the Managing Director, Identity & Access Management (IAM) will likely include the following:

* Cultivate and maintain relationships with key client stakeholders at MD, Vice President, Director/Sr Director level

* Assist with IAM proposal development and sales/marketing collateral

* Assist with IAM business case development Lead IAM strategy, roadmap and vision definition

* Lead creation of IAM solution architecture and design

* Lead IAM vendor tool selection/product recommendations

* Manage IAM delivery program consisting of multiple projects, work streams, phases or releases

* Manage IAM delivery for multiple enterprise and/or customer facing deployments

* Develop point of views, white papers, and other knowledge capital as a thought leader in the identity and access management space

* Build working relationships with IAM vendor product management, development and engineering teams

  • Develop ongoing training programs for the practice.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

* Minimum 5+ years of experience with planning and implementing IAM capabilities, including:

* Identity Governance & Administration

o Access Management & Federation

o Directory Services

o Identity as a Service (IDaaS)

* Experience implementing packaged or custom IAM solutions, including but not limited to Oracle, IBM, CA, SailPoint, RSA/Aveksa, ForgeRock, Okta, Dell/Quest, PingIdentity, Securonix

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

* Minimum Bachelor's degree

* Experience working for the Big 4 or at a global consultancy is desirable

* Knowledge of IAM software vendors, including product capabilities, strategy and roadmap

* Industry recognized professional Security certification preferred (Sec+, CISSP, CASP, CIPP/IT, CIAM, CRISC)

* Ability to lead the IAM practice and counsel others is a must

* Experience managing custom development of IAM solutions using:

o Java/JEE Development

o JSON

o SAML

o XACML

o SCIM

Preferred Skills:

* Exposure to IAM practitioners and industry experts

* Prior work experience serving C-Level clients as a security consultant

* Industry-adopted security certifications (e.g. CISSP), as well as IAM vendor or industry certification such as -

o Certified Identity and Access Manager (CIAM)

o ForgeRock Certified OpenAM Specialist

o Oracle Identity Management - Security Administrator

o Oracle OIM Suite Plus 11g Implementation Specialist, etc.
