Job Description

Our Client based out of New York City is looking to add a Marketing Associate to their fast growing company.

Some specific duties and responsibilities include:

  • Identify cosmetics, skincare, and consumer behavior trends globally
  • Assist in developing marketing, social, content strategies and plans to drive awareness, new customers and sales

Social Media and Content Strategy & Development

  • Develop social and content strategy to increase community, drive engagement and deliver new programs to market
  • Be part of the Content Development team to develop content (video, copy, images) for social platforms
  • Ensure all timelines and cost objectives are met with content development plan and calendar

Marketing and PR

  • Work cross functionally with sales, operations and design to develop and execute 360 marketing plans
  • Create marketing creative and copy including packaging, merchandising, retailers, presentations, events and other promotional opportunities
  • Partner with PR and digital agency to execute PR programs Ç Support the launch of the ecommerce site

Product Development

  • Help identify and develop new products concepts, positioning, formulation, packaging, technologies and pricing strategies
  • Coordinate with HQ on product launch plans
  • Oversee copy and marketing messaging for all marketing materials and packaging

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in Marketing; Brand or Product Management preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business or a related field; MBA is a plus
  • Experience in MS Office Suite
  • Strong familiarity with primary social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of social media metrics and ability to interpret the results and act to increase effectiveness of social media campaigns
  • Strong content creation skills
  • Strong written, verbal, communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to effectively work independent as well as part of a team
