The role

We are looking for an analytical and business-savvy Marketing Data Analyst to work closely with the client's data-driven marketing and product teams to help drive improvements in marketing strategy, acquisition and retention through data analysis and insights. The ideal candidate will have a passion for data analysis, a strong quantitative background, and the ability to effectively communicate key learnings and insights across the organization. The person in this role will be responsible for creating and maintaining dashboards that effectively track growth and goals, as well as analyzing a broad range of product, content, and marketing data to provide actionable insights to the larger marketing team to drive decision-making and growth.


  • Create and maintain visual and insightful dashboards for teams to effectively track growth and performance over time for multiple channels, audiences and more
  • Dive into a broad range of product, content and marketing data to derive actionable insights that help drive and improve growth and retention
  • Perform ad hoc analyses to aid in data-driven decision-making across the team, including customer segment and usage data, LTVs, content analyses and more.
  • Present key findings and insights in creative, logical ways to stakeholder.
  • Perform deep dive analyses into user behavior for specific channels, user segments, goals, and more. Make recommendations based on these insights
  • Enjoy being part of a dynamic and collaborative marketing team


  • 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, strategy consulting, data analysis, business intelligence or related field
  • Exceptional analytical skills; ability to analyze and synthesize data for reporting and optimization
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable presenting data and providing recommendations to senior stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Self-starter with strong organization, interpersonal, communication and multi-tasking skills. Willingness to pitch in where needed
  • Proficiency in SQL. Experience pulling and analyzing data from Google Analytics, Mixpanel or other similar data sources. Proficiency with advanced Excel functions.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Statistics, Economics, Data Science, or related degree with a record of high academic achievement
