Required Technical Skills

- Minimum of 3 years of experience



• JS/jQuery


• Sass

• Git / BitBucket / SourceTree

• SSH for Linux

• LAMP / WAMP / MAMP / XAMP Stacks

• Twitter Bootstrap

• Adobe Creative Suite (except Dreamweaver)

Required Fundamentals

• Extensive knowledge and ability to use Wordpress Codex effectively and efficiently

• Ability to create custom Wordpress themes and plugins from scratch

• Ability to customize existing themes and plugins so they are future-proofed from update breakage

• Knowledge of how to use hooks, actions, and filters in PHP

• Knowledge of how to use basic APIs

• Ability to visualize and implement responsive design fundamentals without a finished design

Preferred Skills (Not necessary, but preferred)

• Server administration

• Network administration


• Woocommerce

• Active member in community forums like StackExchange

• Previous agency experience

• Native mobile app development

• Progressive web app development
