Seeking discerning individuals plugged into internet technologies at the intersection of crisis, geopolitical and user harm issues. You will be working on the leading edge of fast-developing issues like the spread of misinformation and potential breaches of election integrity. This position is on-site at the Austin, TX, offices of our client, which is a major technology company.

Candidates can expect a fast-paced, high-energy environment working on a team that delivers high-impact awareness of world events. Successful candidates will be able to scan a variety of online sources to detect and accurately escalate issues of concern to our client. Strong communication skills and ease working multiple tools with fast-evolving technology are essential for this position.

Minimum Qualifications (in addition to your team's minimum qualifications):

  • BA/BS degree. The ideal candidate will have majored in political science, journalism, digital media or a related field, or have a technical degree.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal), with a proven ability to work successfully with cross-functional teams with senior stakeholder and executive visibility.

  • Calm under pressure, with an ability to function well in urgent, developing situations.

  • Willingness to work outside normal business hours on a team providing 24/7 detection and monitoring support

  • Comfortable juggling multiple projects at once.

  • Background in journalism and politics a plus.
