JOB SUMMARY

Vaco Technology is currently seeking a .NET Application Development Manager for a Direct-Hire opportunity located in Addison, TX. The .NET Application Development Manager will lead teams and project focused on leveraging new technologies to modernize and transform systems to more effectively follow the flow of their Business Process Model. The .NET Application Development Manager will leverage the Microsoft Stack (.NET / SQL Server, etc.) to deliver scalable, maintainable, and extensible applications that provide the optimal UI / UX Experience. The .NET Application Development Manager should thrive in a fast-paced Agile Development environment.

  • Lead / Manage / Mentor Development Team - 1 Technical Lead / 5 Developers / 3rd Party Vendors, etc.
  • Manage Analysis / Design / Development / Implementation / Business Application Support, etc.
  • Establish Timelines / Prioritizations of Work within the Software Development Team
  • Prepare Project Plans / Schedules for Application Development / Enhancements / Maintenance Efforts, etc.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • .NET Application Development Manager - Customer-Facing Web Application Development
  • C# / ASP.NET / SQL Server / WebServices / WebAPI / DHTML, etc.
  • Design Patterns / Refactoring / Unit Testing / TDD - Test Driven Development
  • CI - Continuous Integration Principles (knowledge)
  • UI / UX Design Patterns (proficiency) - Building the Optimal User Experience
  • Agile Development Methodology - Leveraging VSTS to Run Efficient Agile Teams

PREFERRED (not required)

  • Cloud Environment - Azure, etc.
  • MicroServices Architecture
  • IaaS - Infrastructure-as-a-Service
  • PaaS - Platform-as-a-Service
