Job Description

Vaco is looking for a Network Administrator for our client in Bradenton.

Summary of Job:

  • Help to maintain the core network services of the organization including routing, switching,

DHCP and leased data circuits for the enterprise.

  • Help to maintain the LAN and WAN network optimization platform for the enterprise.
  • Help to maintain the internal and external VoIP and traditional telephone communication for the enterprise.
  • Help to maintain the video conferencing and web collaboration solutions for both administrative

and clinical use for the enterprise.

  • Help to maintain the onsite systems for paging using traditional paging speakers or a VoIP

telephone for the enterprise.

  • Help to maintain the wireless network for the enterprise.
  • Help to maintain the firewall/proxy and VPN devices for the enterprise.
  • Help to maintain the performance monitoring and notification tools for the enterprise.
  • Comply with and execute all security policies and procedures approved by the Enterprise Security

Officer.

  • Coordinate communication regarding outages and restoration of service through the Helpdesk to the affected users.
  • Establish and perform maintenance programs following company and vendor standards.
  • Ensure timely user notification of maintenance requirements and effects on system availability.
  • Maintain confidentiality with regard to the information being processed, stored or accessed by the network.
  • Document network problems and resolutions for future reference.
  • Support Desktop Support Specialists as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge of networking and switching
  • Basic knowledge of VoIP telephony
  • Basic knowledge of Active Directory
  • Customer Service skills
  • Troubleshooting skills in computing, network and voice
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products

Job Duties:

  • Providing telephony services for new Hires and removing services for terminations
  • Updating Network equipment to ensure security and compliance
  • Monitor ticketing queue and ensure requests are completed in a timely manner
  • Occasional travel to provide support for the network or telephony infrastructure
