Job Description

We are looking for a Cisco Network Engineer to join our team for a permanent opportunity in the Norcross area. This is an exciting position where you will have your hands in several projects surrounding networks, virtualization, storage and communications. In this Network Engineering role, the right candidate is a hands-on technology guru with experience in the day-to-day administration, operation, support, and design network, server, storage, and voice infrastructure. * Implementation and support of Cisco network equipment

* Support and maintenance of our global WAN systems and SIP infrastructure

* Implementation and support of network, server, and storage systems

* Design and administration of VMware vSphere environments and wireless networks

* Assist with administration of Cisco UC and UCCX related systems and equipment

* Assist with troubleshooting and repair Cisco UC and UCCX software and hardware issues

* Assist with modification of Cisco UCCX call scripts as needed to achieve business requirements

* Monitor, tune, troubleshoot and repair network software, hardware and performance issues


* Bachelor's Degree required

* Minimum of 3 years' experience configuring and supporting global Cisco network and voice related equipment

* CCNA certification; ITIL Foundation or better, preferred

* Solid understanding of networking technologies

* Working experience with VMware ESXi Hypervisors and clusters

* Understanding of networking and SAN principles and an ability to interpret system operational characteristics, accurately determine the presence of a problem, and identify possible solutions

* High attention to detail and capable of working on multiple projects or tasks in parallel

* Experience working in an Enterprise environment
