Job Description

Network Engineer:

The Network Engineer is a dynamic role with multiple critical IT functions. This person's primary responsibility is to insure the functionality and operability of core and secondary systems; servers and end points, during all hours of business operations. Additionally, the Network Engineer will manage the day-to-day relationship between company and its designated managed services provider to ensure that end user support needs are always being met. This individual will perform a wide variety of evaluation, maintenance, installation and training tasks to ensure the computer network performance meets company and user expectations. Most activity will be performed at company's Denver offices, with occasional travel to gym locations as needed.
Network Engineer is focused on:

* Delivering service that meets internal SLA and delights the customer (KPI: SLA achieved & high customer satisfaction)
* Project work in a virtual team environment.
* Managing IT Network/Telephony/Azure cloud infrastructure.
* IT asset management.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
* Maintain a thorough understanding of the basics behind the Internet and its workings. (DNS, Security, IP Routing, HTTP, VPN, Email Routing, SPAM, etc.)
* Manages IT telephony and ISP accounts and vendor relationships.
* Configure switching environments between inter-state sites.
* Design, setup and configure complex wireless networking that supports open or secured access.
* Managing assigned projects and program components to deliver services in accordance with established objectives.
* Responding to inquiries from staff, administrators, service providers, site personnel and outside vendors, etc. to provide 2nd level technical assistance and support.
* Monitor network activity for usage and potential security risks.
* Operates and manages the IT asset tracking system.
* Administer the enterprise wide VOIP telephony system.
* Engage gym level end users via phone/e-mail for level 1 and/or 2 support.
* Works within the process to insure SLA goals are met.
* Ships and receives IT equipment to and from gyms.
* May travel up to 10% for rollouts, closures, organic openings, etc.
* Installs and removes equipment as needed.
* Supports Office365, Windows 10, Chrome, POS peripherals, and other third-party applications.
* Manages the Active Directory environment; ADUC, ADFS, Office365, and Azure.
* Must be able to carry up to 30lbs.
* Additional duties as assigned by management.

Network Engineer
Job Qualifications:
* 4-year degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or the equivalent in professional experience.
* Advanced technical, analytical, and interpersonal skills are required.
* Windows Server 2012 and 2016; SQL experience a plus.
* Knowledge of VoIP implementation and support
* Previous enterprise VOIP telephony management required.
* Experienced within Microsoft Azure and/or AWS administration.
* Previous IT asset tracking experience.
* Must have experience working with network traffic inspection technologies.
* Must be a subject matter expert on network packets.
* Thorough understanding of Active Directory and its use for systems administration.
* Previous enterprise level anti-virus suite management experience.
* PowerShell scripting knowledge.
