Office 365 Support Specialist

The individual will be a Microsoft Exchange/Office 365 Team Member and will help support the migration and post-migration support from the on-premises of one domain to the cloud-based Office 365.

What you will be doing:

  • Vaco is hiring on behalf of our client for an Office 365 Support Specialist with Microsoft Office 365 experience, especially with Microsoft Exchange (Outlook)
  • You will be responsible for resolving issues and requests for Microsoft Outlook, as well as other Office 365 tools, including but not limited to, Skype, SharePoint and OneDrive
  • In addition, the position may require the support of other small business applications
  • The Office 365 Support Specialist will respond to multiple tickets daily, contact and work with affected users, remote into user's machines, and perform problem-solving to resolve issues and implement requests to the customer's satisfaction
  • In addition, in this role, they may be responsible for application upgrades, monitoring, and system troubleshooting

Skills Required:

  • Experience supporting Office 365 products, strong technical and analytical skills, excellent communication skills with impressive customer interaction, and good problem-solving skills
  • Experience with PowerShell, LDAP, Active Directory, Azure, file transfer protocols, API's and troubleshooting data-flows are a plus
  • Candidates should also be familiar with application monitoring tools, reviewing log files, and be available on occasion for off hours emergency support for critical applications
