Our client, located in New York City is adding a Office Manager/Accounting Manager to the team. Professional services, Engineering or similar industry experience preferred.

In this role the ideal candidate will be responsible for but not limited to:

Summary

Under the direct supervision of the COO this position maintains records of financial transactions by establishing accounts; posting transactions; and ensuring legal requirements compliance.

  • There will be 4 direct reports
  • Maintaining records of all financial transactions and ensuring compliance to legal requirements.
  • Manage journal entries, general ledger, month and quarterly end close and other financial reports.
  • Process the companies Payroll and manage the A/P, A/R and Accounting Clerks
  • Stay up to date on federal, state and local legal requirements and suggest process improvements with management.
  • Administer and monitor the benefit enrollment for the organization

Requirements for the position include:

  • Exceptional knowledge and experience of Accounting procedures
  • ADP Payroll experience a plus
  • Proficient with Quickbooks
  • Bachelors degree preferred
