Job Description

Vaco is seeking for our client a skilled and experienced Office Manager, who is a culture-driven and has a passion for organization. The Office Manager will play a key role in the inner workings and will face executive management regularly. This position will directly manage the office functions to ensure management and employees can conduct business in an organized manner. This role, from time to time, will also play a key part in the developing and managing processes to assist Accounting, Operations, and Finance.

This position comes with high expectations and visibility. We need a person with a high energy level and at the same time the understanding when to temper this energy. We are seeking an individual with a strong work ethic, outstanding communications and interpersonal skills and the ability to adapt to varying needs.

Responsibilities of the Office Manager include, but are not limited to:

  • Supports company operations by maintaining office functionality.
  • Creating PowerPoint presentations for upper management
  • Maintains office services by organizing operations and procedures, controlling correspondence, reviewing and approving supply requisitions and performing certain clerical functions.
  • Maintains office efficiency by planning and implementing office systems, layouts, and equipment procurement.
  • Designs and implements office policies by establishing standards and procedures, measuring results against standards and making necessary adjustments.
  • Provide other administrative support services as necessary, including scheduling group meetings, maintaining calendars, doing research, and creating reports.
  • Receptionist duties
  • Manage office budget

Qualifications/Required Experience

  • Associates degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Three plus years' experience in office administration and office management
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software (PowerPoint and Excel)
