- MUST have 2+ years of experience with data entry, filing, as well as inventory in a warehouse setting.

Core Job Responsibilities:

Operations is responsible for managing the overall warehouse and support distribution logistics operations. This includes planning for warehouse layout and design, order processing process, and sufficient inventory level/ back order management. All the while the team will be expected to ensure the continued import and export of a wide range of products, resolving challenges as they arise.

  • Able to Track metrics and KPI'S to reach productivity, quality, service requirements, inventory control and safety goals.
  • Ability to resolve day to day operational challenges as well as long term resolution planning, research inefficiencies make recommendations and implement changes.
  • Enforce company safety standards and ensure compliance with policies and procedures to reduce OSHA incidents and create a safe working environment.
  • Maintain a culture of positive employee relations ensuring all process, best practices, and policies are adhered to consistently coach, motivate and provide direction to supervisors and employees within the facility.
  • Maintain environment that fosters open and positive team communication by setting expectations and communication company goals
  • Must have strong computer skills.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment.
  • Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped.
  • Posts weights and shipping charges and prepares goods for final shipment.
  • On occasion may unpack and check goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods and rejects unsatisfactory items as necessary.
  • May be required to lifts heavy items. May prepare kitting packages for assembly production.
Essential Functions:

  • Drive Operational and financial results setting expectations and accomplishing performance goals and objectives.
  • Establish and maintain logistics procedures, work instructions & job aids in compliance with the Quality System
  • Perform Management reviews in collaboration with the management representative and report performance of QMS to Executive Management
  • Ensure packaging solutions are robust, effective, compliant and cost efficient.
  • Define and manage KPIs for Logistics
  • Track & trend customer complaints & internal non-conformities to identify systemic issues for improvement
  • Review/establish clearly defined customer requirements and requisite procedure
  • Develop, document and control processes for continued improvement for operational stability
  • Manage entire finished goods inventory process
  • Analyze data for performance trends and drive corrective action and risk management
  • Establish training requirements and standards
  • Manage financial and operational goals and metrics utilizing management tools including effective labor management to ensure proper staffing levels, manage attrition, control labor spend to include full time, pat time, temp labor and overtime.
  • Daily, weekly, monthly review and approval of Operational expenses to assist in P&L results.
  • Monitor analyze and adjust work direction and schedules as necessary based on business requirements.
  • Manage vendor, hold accountable for delivery performance, on hand inventory, including freight spend and overall costs.
