Job Description

Our client, located in Piscataway, NJ is adding a Operations Manager to the team.

In this role the ideal candidate will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Leading the operation activities of the production department in processing materials or manufacturing products.
  • Monitor and improve the efficiency throughout the facility to meet the organizations standards.
  • Assist the organization in meeting safety and quality goals as well as accuracy for customers demands within a timely matter.
  • Serve as a liaison between different departments as well as suppliers and managers.
  • Supervise, mentor and motivate a team of employees.
  • Oversee and coordinate machine setup, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Meet or exceed the performance and efficiency of the planned KPI's.
  • Additional responsibilities will include hiring and training employees, planning and assigning work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing and resolving issues or complaints.

Requirements for the position include:

  • Bachelors degree or 4-10 years of related experience.
  • Manufacturing or Engineering experience highly preferred.
  • Spanish Bi-lingual a plus
