Administrative Assistant - Chesapeake, VA
Contract to Hire - $15 - 16/hour

We are currently looking for a strong administrative and operations professional to work the second shift (3 PM - 11PM) for a logistics company. This position will require excellent communication skills, critical thinking skills and a background in administrative/clerical work.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Outbound calls with carriers to resolve any tracking issues
  • Correctly matching and reviewing bills of lading
  • Dispatching trucks as needed
  • Oral/written communication
  • Other administrative duties as assigned

Requirements include but are not limited to:

  • 2+ years of administrative/operations/dispatch/logistics experience
  • MS Excel knowledge
  • Detail-oriented in approach to work
  • Must be an excellent multi tasker
