Job Description

You will partner with process owners, stakeholders and IT to support Oracle HCM Cloud. Throughout multi-entity implementations, you will act as the subject matter expert and advise on options, risks, and impacts across the Oracle Cloud Applications.


  • Lead Engineer from IT on Oracle implementation initiatives
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert in all technical aspects of Oracle HCM Cloud including best practices for deployments and data integration techniques (staging area, direct feed, etc.)
  • Execute Oracle HCM Cloud integration projects for future acquisitions
  • Assist with transition of Legacy Systems to Cloud based products
  • Translate requirements from process owners into technical specifications
  • Provide expertise for on-going process and methodology improvements including contribution of middleware software development best practices, standards, and procedures
  • Make alterations to existing systems to gather and report data as necessary to integrate HR systems with internal and external third-party vendor systems.
  • Work closely with Human Resources process owners
  • Troubleshoot technical and user support issues, pre/post-implementation
  • Manage all aspects of Oracle Service Requests with Oracle Support
  • Create value added reports, dashboards and queries utilizing BI Publisher
  • Write, maintain and support a variety of reports or queries using appropriate reporting tools
  • Basic monitoring of system and application performance and troubleshoot or escalate issues as needed
  • Audit HRIS systems for accuracy and daily maintenance activities, documents system changes, policies, and procedures to ensure standardization and efficiency of system workflows
  • Ownership of environment maintenance scheduling (upgrades, patches, refreshes)
  • Conduct user training, User Acceptance Testing
  • Proactive participation in Oracle HCM Cloud product training
  • Establish strong controls/security around Oracle Cloud applications


This person should have 2-5+ years of hands on experience working with Oracle HCM/Fusion.

    • This person will work with the HR team and provide them support on the HCM platform.
    • Configuration of Oracle HCM systems, reviewing and advising on software releases and updates as needed to determine which features/functionality to deploy to the production environments.
    • Address technical support questions and issues from end-users, and independently provide solutions or collaborate with vendors to resolve issues.
    • Perform troubleshooting and diagnosis for system failures. Recommend and implement fixes/improvements to prevent recurrence. Instruct users in the correct use of systems as needed.
    • Partners with HR and Technology teams to lead Oracle HCM system related projects, including system releases/upgrades, enhancement packages, and processes
