As an Outbound Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for effectively solving customer issues, complaints and inquiries, and keeping customer satisfaction at the core of every decision and behavior.

Other responsibilities of the Outbound Customer Service Representative include:

  • Managing large volume of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner
  • Following communication "scripts" when handling different topics
  • Identifying customers' needs, clarifying information, researching every issue and provide solutions and/or alternatives

Job Requirements

As an Outbound Customer Service Representative, you must be able to clearly present information, interpret complex information and communicate professionally with customers — you must communicate efficiently regarding their orders. You must also be able to display good judgment in routine and day-to-day decision making. Other requirements of the Outbound Customer Service Representative role include: • Strong Customer Service background • Excellent computer skills, specifically with Microsoft Office • Phone system and other traditional office equipment • Strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills • Patience when handling tough cases
