  • Description:

    Responsible and accountable for advising owners of the features and operation of the Owner Rental program as well as securing listings from the owners. Achieve maximum deposits at high demand resorts to maximize rental opportunity for owners and Extra Holidays. Provide excellent customer service to owners and foster repeat business.

    Operate multiple systems such as RCC, iHotelier, Mainframe and Citrix. Representatives have frequent interaction with owners via phone, email and faxes. Maintain open and productive communication with yield management.

    Essential Job Functions

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    System Proficiency 40% Operate multiple systems such as RCC Systems, Reservation System, Rental and Mainframe Systems and CRS Systems.Transmit and receive Listing Agreements from owners via email, postal mail and fax.Process and log contracts accurately based on date receivedJobKnowledge 35%Clearly explain the program to the owner, generate and process contracts as owners enroll.Make decisions about how to suggest to Owners on listing their week in the most effective fashion with the purpose of maximizing availability and highest revenue for Owner and EH.Utilize tools provided from yield management to secure most needed and valuable inventory. Communications 10%Responsible for initiating frequent communications with Owners and EH Yield contacts to work interactively on inventory issues.Clearly explain the program to the ownerProvide information to Owners who call about the status of their enrolled inventory and question their received commission

    BusinessAcumen 10%Understand seasonal demand to provide guidance to owners to increase their likelihood of rental revenue.Proficient in Microsoft Office apps such as Excel, WORD and Access.

    Driving Results 5«ility to map business processes, communicate procedures and measure production resultsPropose improvements to processes to improve efficiencies Knowledge and skills

    • Customer service skills

    • Ability to spend considerable amount of time speaking with owners via the phone

    • Knowledge of the industry is a plus

    • Ability to adapt to change

    c) Technical Skills

    • PC proficient, operational knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites (Word, Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint)

    • Ability to use basic office equipment including fax, copier, printers, scanners

    • Experience using CRS/RCC/Mainframe preferred

    Job experience

    • Two years of equivalent experienced required

    • Two years of experience in travel inventory management or revenue managemen


    Describe the following:

    a) Level of decision making authority

    • Able to interpret various sources of info (systems, reports and application) to decide which listings to accept or return to owners.

    b) Level of autonomy

    • Direction provided by manager particularly on special projects or initiatives, but otherwise minimal supervision with respect to daily duties.

    c) The impact of his/her decision on the organization

    • Inventory acceptance or rejection decisions directly impact the revenue potential of Extra Holidays and the rental proceeds for owners.

    d) Supervisory responsibility:

    e) Scope/Financial Responsibility

    • Working with IM and Yield to determine which inventory is needed and most likely to be rented affects the bottom line directly.
