As a Paralegal, you will provide administrative support to a team of attorneys on a daily basis.

Your daily duties and responsibilities in this role will generally include:

1. Assist lawyers by investigating facts, preparing legal documents, or researching legal precedent
2. Conduct research to support a legal proceeding, to formulate a defense, or to initiate legal action.
3. Maintains the Managing Partner's, and other firm attorneys, calendar by planning and scheduling client conferences, teleconferences, attorney meetings, dispositions, couriers, and court reporters; recording and monitoring court appearance dates, pleadings, and filing requirements.
4. support attorneys, law clerks, and or management staff by communicating and obtaining information and following-up on delegated assignments.
5. Research and analyze law sources such as statutes, recorded judicial decisions, legal articles, treaties, constitutions, and legal codes.
6. Assisting lawyers in preparing for transactional closings, depositions, hearings, trails, and conferences.
7. Investigating the factual evidence of a transaction or case and to determine causes of action and prepare case accordingly


* Bachelor's degree in pre-law, administration, or related field preferred
* 3+ years of foreclosure/ community association litigation experience REQUIRED
* Experience in scheduling, pleadings and court filings
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* E-Filing portal experience
* Excellent time management skills; able to prioritize
* Able to organize and manage large amounts of tasks, schedules, and information
* Able to attend trial by themselves
* Familiarity with counties
