Job Description

We have a part-time Accounting Manager opportunity with a downtown client. Beautiful office and convenient location with free surface parking. Excellent working culture and a great opportunity to help with growth !!

  • Responsible for the system of budgeting and financial controls
  • Establishes and maintains chart of accounts, the General Ledger, and all
    appropriate sub-ledgers for accounts of the organization

  • Works with our external auditor and tax preparer(s), as well as subject
    matter experts, with respect to compliance for financial matters

  • Collaborates with managers to review historic expenditures and project future
    expenses, including anticipated increases in fixed costs and program revenue in order to
    develop and recommend draft operational and capital budgets

Skills Needed:
  • Communicates effectively and consistently, both
    verbally and in writing, appropriately considering the needs of the audience

  • Familiarity with the development and application of
    process and system mapping to identify the intersection of people, activities, and outcomes as
    a means for continuous improvement

  • Bachelor's Degree in business with a concentration in Accounting and Finance. Requires
    five (5) years of accounting experience. Considerable knowledge of principles and practices of
    GAAP is desired
