Job Description

Vaco Indianapolis is working with a client located just North of Downtown Indianpolis to fill a part-time Bookkeeper.

This position will work an average of 24 hours per week. Quickbooks experience is required.

Job Duties

  • Process accounts payable invoices and data entry
  • Ensure imaging of invoice supporting documents is timely and accurately performed
  • Prepare and forward client expense reports as requested
  • Accept other bookkeeping, filing and data-entry responsibilities as needed


  • Proven working experience as a Bookkeeper / Administrative Assistant with Accounting/or Accounts Payable Clerk required


  • Proficiency in QuickBooks is a must
  • Data entry skills with experience in posting and managing data
  • Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
