Vaco Indianapolis is working with a client located just North of Downtown Indianpolis to fill a part-time Bookkeeper.
This position will work an average of 24 hours per week. Quickbooks experience is required.
Job Duties
- Process accounts payable invoices and data entry
- Ensure imaging of invoice supporting documents is timely and accurately performed
- Prepare and forward client expense reports as requested
- Accept other bookkeeping, filing and data-entry responsibilities as needed
Education/Experience
- Proven working experience as a Bookkeeper / Administrative Assistant with Accounting/or Accounts Payable Clerk required
Skills
- Proficiency in QuickBooks is a must
- Data entry skills with experience in posting and managing data
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
