As a part-time Human Resources Specialist, you will be responsible for fostering a healthy workplace by ensuring the HR procedures run smoothly at all times.

Additional responsibilities of the HR Specialist include:

  • Preparing and reviewing compensation and benefits packages
  • Administering health and life insurance programs
  • Updating employee records with new hire information and/or changes in employment status
  • Maintaining organizational charts and detailed job descriptions along with salary records
  • Forecasting hiring needs and ensuring recruitment process runs smoothly
  • Developing and implementing HR policies throughout the organization

Job Requirements

As an HR Specialist, your experience with payroll, compensation, benefits, safety, and retention strategies will be crucial for this leadership position. Additional requirement of the Human Resources Specialist role include: • Bachelor’s degree in a related field • 1+ years' of experience as a Human Resources Specialist • Hands-on experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) • Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems • Team management skills • Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite
