Job Description

Title: HR Generalist

Location: Del Mar Heights

Hours: 10-20 hours for now

Pay: $30.00-$35.00/hr

Type: temp-to-perm

MUST HAVE 3-4 years of experience as an HR Generalist

Job Description:

*Onboarding - background checks, setting up new employees in Insperity, new employee enrollment emails to new hires, confirming documentation (i9 docs)

*Terminations - PTO Calcs, Final submissions in Insperity, confirming payment methods etc

*Insperity/Wilkins Kennedy Updates, payroll and roll changes

Payroll - Bonuses, hourly information, referral bonuses, compensation changes, parental leave calculations

OTO -Unpaid/Paid/Parental Leave - Review of all entries for validity, completion of deduction forms, submission of forms to Insperity

Leave of Absence - Medical, PFL, Other - more complicated HR related leaves

PIPs

Verification of Employments

Handbook changes, new laws (lactation rooms) - or anything that Insperity needs

Required Training for Insperity - Dedicated resource that can take their training. Meant to be onsite HR rep, not liaison

Required Insperity Training or other needs - example all discrimination training

Benefits questions, Open Enrollment

***IMIGRATION WORK + Establishing Immigration Policies and Procedures

Personnel headcount updates, role replacements, new hires, updating the forecast model - typically in the past this is kept within the HR/Payroll role and feeds into the finance model. It is not a live tab within the model, usually as a result of duplication of efforts to update in so many places. - Need to spend some time automating these changes.

CalCompetes - Training submissions, new hires and termination reporting - quarterly
