Job Description

Position Summary: Handle all tasks required to maintain patient satisfaction. Provide cross-functional support of all business units to maintain up to date documentation.

Job Duties:
  • Obtain and process authorizations for reorders
  • Resolve patient issues
  • Ensure accurate reorder processing over the phone, document processing, medical record validation, CRM research, etc.
  • Ensure patients have all required medical documentation for billing purposes
  • Maximize patient base through cross-selling over the phone and retention effort
  • Maintain a strong understanding of medical documentation
  • Maintain a high degree of confidentiality at all times
  • Follow all Medicare, Medicaid, HIPAA, and Private Insurance regulations
  • Abide by all pollicies and procedures
Performance Responsibilities:
  • Exercise appropriate cost control measures
  • Maintain positive internal and external customer service
  • Keep open lines of communication
  • Meet productivity requirements
  • Participate in continuous quality inprovement
Position Requirements:
  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED
  • At least 6 months to one year minimum customer service experience
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Position may require some overtime and weekend availability
  • Must have exceptional phone and email etiquette
