As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for using ADP to record and process all employee time and payroll data. This will require that youobserve and manage multiple deadlines.

Your daily duties and responsibilities in this role will generally include:

  • Tracking and auditing employee time and attendance
  • Maintaining employee vacation/PTO calendars
  • Maintaining database, including all additions, terminations and changes
  • Managing all employee deductions, both mandatory and voluntary
  • Conducting monthly, quarterly and yearly reconciliation and reporting
  • Providing overall support to the HR department
  • Completing special projects as assigned


This position, located in the WVO Payroll Accounting Department of the Orlando Corporate Office, processes weekly/biweekly payroll for assigned pay groups using ADP, Oracle, People Soft (SIM), and Kronos systems. Responsible for researching and resolving issues submitted to the Payroll Help Desk ensuring that all requested adjustments are entered into Kronos time keeping system or ADP. Process manual checks requested via share point site and ensure checks are issued from Corporate NJ. Special projects as assigned by management.

Essential Job Functions

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

* Research and resolve inquiries sent to the payroll help desk. 40%
* Process manual checks requested via share point site and ensure checks are issued. 40%
* Processes weekly/bi-weekly payroll for assigned pay group. 5% time
* Complete ADP balance sheet entry/reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of payroll data. 5%
* Perform weekly/biweekly audits to identify timekeeping errors or entries that are out of compliance with company policy. (5% time)

* Other duties as assigned 5% time


Travel Requirements
* Minimal to none: Only for local corporate or team meetings



Minimum Requirements and Qualifications

* High School Diploma and Associate's degree/technical training or 2-3 years equivalent experience preferred
