Payroll Manager

Birmingham, Alabama


Outstanding company located in beautiful Birmingham Alabama needs a payroll guru to oversee and orchestrate the payroll operations for more than over 2,000 employees. This is a great opportunity to lead the payroll department; supervising staff and tackling technical issues. Duties will include handling the compliance of payroll and related tax implications. You will work to integrate systems, create and maintain payroll procedures, supervise the process of multi state payroll, work with HR and Corporate Accounting, and lead the entire payroll department.


A qualified individual must have a Bachelor's degree with excellent leadership skills and a strong knowledge of payroll compliance. The selected Payroll Manager will have a minimum of 5 years related payroll experience and have overseen the processing for a minimum of 1,000 employees. Experience using Great Plains is a plus.
