As a Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the payroll department and filings. You will oversee a Payroll Specialist and work with the broader HR team. You will have at least 2 years of experience working with Workday.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Staying current on payroll tax changes and regulations
  • Analyzing and implementing process and procedural improvements
  • Preparing month-end journal entries and reconcile related balance sheet accounts
  • Reviewing expense reports to ensure compliance with corporate policies
This is a direct-hire position with opportunity for growth and career progression. It will consider candidates who are relocated to the Raleigh-Durham area. This position has flexibility and will be primarily remote through the pandemic. When it is safe to do so, this position will be in office.

Job Requirements

As an experienced Payroll Manager, your experience with full payroll cycle functions and Workday will make you a successful candidate for this leadership role. • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field • 5 years of experience in payroll • Experience with Workday required • Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
