Job Description

Our client, located in Little Ferry, NJ is adding a Payroll Manager to the team.

In this role the ideal candidate will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Managing the Payroll team and monitoring the process of the organizations payroll ensuring accuracy within a timely matter.
  • Analyze and study payroll procedures to improve the efficiency.
  • Supervise, train and mentor Associates to ensure procedures and goals are achieved.
  • Ensure accuracy of wages, withholdings, garnishments, deductions for union and non-union employees on a weekly and bi-weekly basis.
  • Stay up to date on knowledge of wages applicable for local, state, federal and/or union agencies to stay in compliance.
  • Report and distribute the annual W-2's to the employees of the organization.

Requirements for the position include:

  • 10 years experience in a Payroll operations position
  • Experience with processing payroll for Union employees
  • Bachelors Degree required
