Job Description

We are currently seeking a Payroll Supervisor for an immediate need in our Midtown, NYC office. Candidate MUST have Ultimate Software experience, UltiPro.

  • Inputs, processes, and reviews weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly payrolls, utilizing the UltiPro HR, Payroll, and Time and Attendance System.
  • Ensures the timely response to all employee inquiries and requests. Ensures the timely review of all time and attendance submissions, new hires, rehires, compensation changes, terminations, leaves of absence, and paycheck deductions, earnings, and taxes, etc. Processes and analyzes reports to ensure accurate payrolls.
  • Prepares and processes union reports on a timely basis, including monthly union benefits and dues deductions.
  • As needed assistance with review and posting.
  • Acts as the main point of contact for employees for all payroll-related questions. Researches and responds to a variety of employee concerns in a timely manner.
  • Maintains electronic filing of payroll documentation.
  • Works proactively to improve the performance of the department through re-evaluation of current processes and as upgrades and enhancements to software are introduced.
  • Collaborates with the payroll manager and the Human Resources, Accounting, and Finance teams to support ongoing initiatives and projects such as Pay cards, general ledger updates for Financial Force, and merit increases.
  • Enhances UltiPro skill set by engaging in continuing knowledge of the product through the Learning Center.
  • Keeps informed of all payroll, tax, and other relevant employer changes in laws and compliance and advises managers and employees as necessary.
  • Performs any other duties reasonably related to the functions described above.


  • Bachelor's degree and five plus years related professional experience in payroll
  • Ability to work independently and to produce timely, error-free work in a fast-paced exciting environment
