Job Description

The seasonal Payroll Tax Specialist within Compliance Balancing and Controls function will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable Federal, Provincial, State and Local tax requirements for the US, Canada and International Expats.

* Responsible for timely and accurate payroll tax reporting.
* Manage timely and accurate completion of monthly black book account reconciliations for all business entities within Limited Brands
* Own payroll tax reconciliation, payroll tax journal entry preparation, and quarterly and annual tax reconciliation. Partner with payroll operations group to make necessary adjustments prior to finalizing file
* Manage analysis of all tax inquiries and notices in a timely manner, including: Multi - State jurisdictions, federal government, and local taxing authorities and Canadian provinces
* Manage relationship with Equifax and PeopleSoft support team to assure State Unemployment Tax Act (SUTA) rate changes are updated timely and correctly
* Manage W2, W2PR, T4 and RL1 balancing at year end
* Manage and approve updates to all PeopleSoft payroll tax tables to insure integrity
* Participate in departmental testing of PeopleSoft upgrades or tax updates
* Fund account requests
* Conduct tax audits to ensure compliance with standards of operation
* Manage weekly associate tax changes through PAR and e-forms

* Minimum of 3 - 5 years' experience in Payroll Tax and Accounting
* Advanced PC skills including Excel, Access and PowerPoint
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required


* Experience with PeopleSoft Payroll, Master Tax and SAP Financials is preferred
