JOB SUMMARY

Vaco Technology is currently seeking a PL/SQL Developer for a 6M C2H opportunity located in North Dallas, TX. The PL/SQL Developer will be joining the MDM (Master Data Management) Team. The PL/SQL Developer will be responsible to collect large amounts of data from multiple sources and populate / filter that data into one standardized place that everyone accesses when looking for particular data sets, regardless of the original data source. The PL/SQL Developer will be working with very large and complex tables and will need to have strong PL/SQL Package Development experience as well as writing Triggers (and not solely supporting them). The PL/SQL Developer will drive solution options, cost estimates, and proposed timelines while establishing and maintaining key client and vendor relationships. The PL/SQL Developer will bring together scope management expertise, to effectively design and deploy effective, high-impact technical, business process solutions, and ability to speak directly to the business and customers.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Oracle PL/SQL Database Development
  • PL/SQL Package Development (from Scratch) / Stored Procedures
  • Joins / Triggers / Materialized Views / Global Temp Tables / External Tables, etc.
  • Triggers (Writing from Scratch) / Mutating Triggers (preferred)
  • Table Duplicates - Identifying / Eliminating Duplicate Records
  • Cursors / Cursor Loops - Identifying / Correcting Errors within the Cursor Loops
  • Default Exception Handling Methods / Approaches
  • PL/SQL Anonymous Blocking / Defining Variables
  • Large Complex Data Sets / Table Experience

PREFERRED (not required)

  • Oracle APEX Development
  • Informatica PowerCenter Development
  • Mutating Triggers - Table Actively Being Modified by an UPDATE / DELETE / INSERT Statement or a Table Needing to be Updated by the Effects of a Declarative DELETE CASCADE Referential Integrity Constraint
  • Pragma Autonomous - a Subprogram Marked with Pragma can do SQL Operations and Commit or Rollback Operations without Committing or Rolling Back Data in the Main Transaction
