Plant Accountant/ Senior Financial Analyst in Wilmington, DE at Vaco

Job Description

Our manufacturing client is search for a Plant Accountant to assist the accounting and finance manager for 1-2 plants located in the US. The position requires at most one trip a year to a plant in the Southeastern part of the country.

The ideal candidate will have experience optimizing manufacturing plant performance, new capital improvements and expenditure, supply chain, and inventory controls. The position will require some cost accounting, general accounting, and FPA skills

This is a very hands-on position

Responsibilities and Requirements:

• Assist with Monthly Financial Reporting to the parent company
• Monthly Financial Analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
• Variance analysis and corrective actions to gain the high performance
• Job costing and standard cost accounting
• Work with on-site plant management on cost improvements
• Plant facility process improvement experience
• 4-year degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business required
• 5 years of accounting and financial analysis
• Advanced Excel and Accounting ERP experience; JD Edwards a plus
