Serves as a subject matter expert to the vulnerability management program for the business unit, providing procedural expertise to the program. Will work closely with the corporate vulnerability management team to identify threats and vulnerabilities to the organization and coordinate separation activities.

Job Description

This role is part of the sales team. The Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer will be responsible for developing basic technology solutions corresponding to specific pre-sales opportunities. All Pre-Sales Solutions Engineers align with both Sales and Engineering and are viewed as a consultative resource for Sales.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Collects technical customer requirements directly from Sales and/or through a customer, and subsequently develops basic solutions/designs utilizing those requirements and applying to software technology offered
  • Assists sales team in the development of complex security solutions/designs as needed and aligned to company software tech stack.
  • Develops customization needs and BRD's from the solution/design and utilizes that to create an estimate that Sales will include as part of their overall proposal.
  • Keeps Sales apprised of technical updates, and similarly keeps the Engineering and Product Development teams aware of new and/or unique technical requirements.

Subject Matter

  • Pre-sales engineer experience at a Cyber Security software company. Ideally with experience in either SOAR, Incident Management, or Cyber Intelligence.

Requirements

  • 1 or more years of experience as a Cyber Security Pre-Sales Engineer or Industry Consultant.
  • 1 or more years of either SOAR, Incident Management, SOC, or Cyber Intelligence.
  • Experience with Demisto, Anomali or similar tools a plus
  • Excellent organizational, verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills with a high degree of attention to detail.
  • A strong network in the Cyber Security Community
  • Preferred location in the NY/NJ area a plus; remote with travel is OK
  • Information Security Certifications a plus
