Vaco Indianapolis has partnered with a company to fill a Pricing Analyst position.

This position is a direct hire / full time position.

Job Description:

The Pricing Analyst will be responsible for working closely with location managers to develop, execute and evaluate market pricing strategies. The position will work closely with the product development team as well as the Director of Sales to enhance our software products as it relates to revenue management, conceptualize reporting tools, and coordinate revenue management processes and procedures. The position may also oversee labor resources assisting in the execution of developed strategies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Implement strategic pricing plans, leveraging analytics, to support growth targets.

* Maintain an expert knowledge of airport car rental market size and trends.

* Produce and distribute monthly location performance and benchmark reports.

* Create processes and procedures for optimal rate management including the documentation of strategies and their effectiveness.

* Help to conceptualize various reports that assist in gauging various strategies and staying a step ahead of the competition.

* Communicate efficiency and enhancement ideas to the software development team on a regular basis and provide meaningful feedback on new development

* Ensure accurate and timely entry of pricing data into applicable systems and databases.

* Prepare pricing strategy action plans for affiliates and monitor their progress.

* Work with location managers to forecast revenue and market trends.

* Responsible for helping to supervise the daily tactical pricing and implementation of labor resources, as well as their systems training.

* Manage all daily tasks related to pricing.

* Develop strong working relationships with our affiliate base as a trusted resource.

* Manage and develop junior pricing analysts, by educating them on system philosophies and measuring and critiquing their handling of various markets.

* Create new business for the department by reaching out to affiliates who might benefit from rate management services.

QUALIFICATIONS

o Bachelor's Degree from an accredited 4 year institution preferred, with a focus in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or related discipline

* At least two year's experience in e-commerce revenue management.

* Solid understanding of economic concepts and pricing/yield management principles.

* Working knowledge of SQL or other statistical analysis software.

* Working understanding of computer application tools to perform financial calculations.
