Job Description

We have an immediate need for a Principal Financial Analyst - FP&A to work for one of our clients in the healthcare industry located in the Long Beach Area. Annual salary is up to $105,000.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the preparation of corporate budgets, forecasts and other key performance indicators.
  • Work with large data sets to analyze relevant data using SQL, Access, and other databases tools.
  • Conducts complex analysis for enrollment.
  • Responsible for management of the organization's incurred profitability data which includes reporting and analytics by networks and products.
  • Proactively and continuously identifies opportunities for process improvement.
  • Provides system support and guidance related to the Cognos application.
  • Serves as the main FP&A and Data Warehouse liaison.
  • Provides guidance and support to other analysts, as needed. Serves as a resource and assists with escalated issues.
  • Communicates results and findings proactively and professionally to both FP&A and external teams

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems or related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Corporate Finance.
  • Healthcare experience, preferably in insurance or hospital.
  • Advanced knowledge of financial modeling skill in Excel and Access applications.
  • Advanced SQL skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
