JOB SUMMARY

Vaco Technology is currently seeking a Product Manager for a Direct-Hire opportunity located in Downtown Dallas, TX. The Product Manager will define Digital and Technical Products and executing on them with Engineering. The Product Manager will report to the VP of Product Development and will develop digital and technology powered products, blending seamlessly with end-user workflows and provide the correct information at the right time. The Product Manager must have technical expertise, project management experience, and a solid foundational understanding of Engineering and Agile Software Development / Support Processes. The Product Manager will need to possess creativity as end-users will look to this person to provide solutions to their problems. The Product Manager is strongly cross-functional, requiring strong working relationships with multiple teams (Data Analytics / UX / Marketing / Research / Engineering / Operations, etc.). The Product Manager will work with internal users, external end-users, and partners to understand the requirements and support the business. The Product Manager role will be very consultative in nature and will therefore require strong problem-solving skills and past professional services and/or consultancy experience would be very valuable in this position.

  • Lead Internal Process to Define Product Strategy / Roadmaps / Priorities, etc.
  • Serve as End-User Representative in Planning / Requirements Definition
  • Develop Requirements Documents / Use Cases for New Product Features
  • Own Product Backlog / Facilitate Discussions / User Story Grooming
  • Monitor the Status of Development Projects Supporting New Features
  • Provide Regular Updates / Manage Executive Stakeholder Communication and Reporting
  • POC (Point-of-Contact) / Strategic Leader for Product Development within the Company
  • Perform Product Demonstrations / Product Technical Presentations
  • Perform Analysis for Build / Buy / Partner Decisions
  • Manage 3rd Party Technology Product Vendors / Contracts
  • Proactively Identify Problems Early to Prioritize Deliverables
  • Successful Experience in Defining / Launching Excellent Quality Products
  • Focus on End-Users and Creating an Exceptional User Experience (UX)
  • Exceptional Knowledge of the Agile Software Development Process / Lifecycle
