Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Business, Software Development, and QA team to triage and prioritize incoming issues related to production.
  • Document additional details which may help teams resolve issues.
  • Set up monitoring and enhance additional automation to enable smooth operations.
  • Monitor and support environments to proactively fix issues.
  • Work with DBAs, infrastructure teams etc. to provision servers and automate processes related to CI/CD.
  • Develop a solid understanding of the CADIS development platform.
  • Monitor and trouble shoot production jobs.
  • Perform root cause analysis and resolve issues.
  • Use SQL for data analysis and inquiry.
  • Partner with other onshore and offshore support personnel.
  • Work with IT on system and functional enhancements; test results and resolve issues.
Required Skills:
  • 5-7 years of experience in software development, tools administration, and/or usage with a desire to provide technical and/or support leadership on a wide variety of industry-leading tools
  • Experience in a DevOps / CI / CD oriented environment
  • Experience using Source Control to build Software (git preferred)
  • Experience with C# and at least one scripting language (PowerShell, Python, bash)
  • Experience with building large scale CI systems using an off-the-shelf Enterprise grade tool
  • Experience Investigating and Documenting Technical Processes
  • Reviewing, editing, and creating Knowledge Base articles
  • Interest in building an Enterprise-level CD pipeline
  • Strong working knowledge of software development methodologies
  • Experience working in an Agile delivery model environment Preferred:
  • BA/BS or higher degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience with any of the automation and configuration Management tools Chef / Puppet / Ansible / Salt
  • Hands on experience with SQL
  • Desire to solve problems systemically by looking for root causes and identifying ways to reduce support needs of our clients through automation, documentation, and training
  • Experience providing technical leadership and guidance to less senior team members of the team
  • Highly curious nature and willingness to learn through multiple methods, including independent research and self-study
