Our client is a scaffolding company seeking a Project Accountant for a permanent position in Moonachie, NJ. The position handles all billing and collection aspects of the project from initial setup to final cash collection.
Responsibilities:
- Create Schedule of values with Project Manager and client
- Create, post and Maintain monthly AIA billings with attention to sales/use tax guidelines
- Creating and posting billing adjustments as required
- Following up on all paperwork, affidavits, general release, changes orders, certified payroll, WMBE reporting
- Collection call on outstanding receivables
- Reporting results and trends
- Invoice Auditing support
Requirements:
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills is a MUST
- Experience with Sage Timberline software a definite plus
- Working knowledge of AIA Requisitioning Documents
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong collection background ? communicating with the Accounting, Billing and Collections departments of our clients
