Project Accounting Coordinator
Temporarily Remote
$23-30 an hour based on experience

JOB SUMMARY:

Provide financial guidance and tracking of expense for a key business unit. Perform comprehensive project accounting services for an Office or Stockholder group(s) to ensure successful project financial management. Responsible to provide financial support including proper project start-up, budget tracking, monthly billing, and collections follow-up from project inception to closeout.

Responsibilities:

  • Key partner to managing our profitability goals by creating the billing terms and process to align with client expectations and our project manager needs
  • Assess project revenue goals and advise on financial strategy upon contract review
  • Makes recommendations for write-offs that impacts individual and business chargeability
  • Tracking against profit and determines source of potential misses of budget and advise on the need for change-orders.
  • Partner with assigned Project Managers ("PM") and clients regarding budgets, contracts, monthly billings, payments, and other project related financial processes.
  • Evaluate the financial terms of a prospective new project and advising PM on customized billing and invoice solution

  • Experience with Vision accounting software a plus.
