Job Title: Project Management - Program/Project Analyst

Job Description:

  • The primary purpose of this position is to provide project management for the deployment of energy and sustainability technology platforms across the company's Global Workplace Solutions customer base.
  • A secondary purpose is to provide ongoing operational management of specific customer deployments of these platforms including partner management, problem resolution and data analysis. Project and program responsibilities will be centered in delivering energy & sustainability management services with a focus on the use of technology to enhance service delivery.

In this position, you will be responsible for end-to-end project management of multiple projects running simultaneously. You will ensure that project goals are achieved by effective project planning, timely identification of risks & issues, management of stakeholder expectations, removal of obstacles to project success and management of task inter-dependencies. When assigned to the ongoing management of a specific customer deployment you will be responsible for insuring that the technology tools that have been deployed meet the expectations of our internal and external clients.

From time to time, this individual may also work with business leaders to create policies, execute corporate initiatives and participate in strategic efforts.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Leads and executes complex cross-functional projects and programs end-to-end following formal PMO process. Ensures that all functions remain on schedule, that budgets are met and that issues get escalated and resolved appropriately. Facilitates meetings to review active and pending projects (project pipeline).

Collaborates with core team to develop solutions and lead project team(s) through implementation and completion. Manages internal and external relationships in support of program(s) including vendors and clients.

Supports development and maintenance of the E&S technology roadmap, bringing to bear subject matter expertise and decision-making skills.

Understands customer applications and the backend services required to deliver them. Formulates technical, performance and commercial requirements for solutions. Identifies and manages continuous improvement efforts for technology deployment.

No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. May provide informal assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to coworkers. May coordinate and assign tasks to co-workers within a work unit and/or project.

Qualifications:

  • Project management experience in a technology or software implementation environment.
  • Experience as a technical product manager and working with technical resources to execute and deliver positive client outcomes
  • Product development and management experience
  • Experience in energy and/or environmental management for large organizations, particularly with respect to energy, carbon, water and/or waste inventories
  • Minimum of 2 years of consulting experience with a major consulting, technology or professional services firm.


Education And Experience:

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from 4-year college or university. Prefer a Bachelor's degree in in Computer Science, Statistics, Informatics, Information Systems or related degree. Minimum 4 years of project/product management experience required. Experience with energy and sustainability data and business intelligence (Tableau, PowerBI, Excel, Python, R, etc) platforms required.

Certificates And/Or Licenses:
Program management, Project management or data science professional certifications preferred.

Communication Skills:
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex business documents. Ability to respond effectively to urgent and sensitive issues. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to colleagues, management and clients.

Financial Knowledge:
Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and/or commissions. Conducts basic financial analysis.

Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve problems, prioritize responsibilities and manage interactions and engagements in a professional manner. Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills. Organizational skills and the ability to think critically. Decisions made with understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to co-workers and supervisor.

Other Skills And/Or Abilities:
Strong process, organization, decision-making and analytical skills are necessary. Demonstrated ability in project management processes, tools and techniques. Responsible for setting and meeting project deadlines.

Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Tableau, PowerBI or other analytics platforms.

Ability to manage multiple projects, clients and internal responsibilities effectively. Ability to build and maintain effective professional/client relationships.
