Vaco is proud to partner with a company located in Plymouth to fill a Project Coordinator position.

This position starts off contractual.

Description:

The Project Coordinator works closely with our Project Managers and Program Managers to prepare comprehensive action plans, including resources, time frames and budgets for projects. Project Coordinator's perform various coordinating tasks, like schedule and risk management, along with administrative duties, like maintaining project documentation and handling financial queries. Project Coordinators rely on excellent time management and communication skills, as they collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver results on deadlines. Project Coordinator's duties are to ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget and meet high quality standards.

Essential Functions:

  • Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment and information.
  • Ensure all facets of account specific field operations are executed safely, to industry standards, and in accordance with the signed agreement
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports
  • Act as the project point of contact and communicate project status to all participants
  • Work to ensure that all projects assigned are being billed timely, and within the guidelines established by the signed scope of work.
  • Assign vendors with proper skill sets to complete the assigned projects
  • Document and communicate with the appropriate team regarding technician performance, issues, concerns, or problems.
  • Implement project and process management methodology, standards and tools to drive and facilitate successful project delivery.
  • Assist the project team with preparing budgets, analyzing risks and opportunities, and ensuring the customers needs are proactively being met.
  • Drive measurable operational excellence in key process areas (Days to Invoice, Tech On-Time Arrival, Project Target Goals, Team Productivity, and Quoted to Actual Margins.)
  • Improve customer satisfaction
  • Ensure that corporate policies and procedures are understood and followed
  • Ensure accountability to customer satisfaction
  • Attend and contribute to weekly Operations meetings

Required Experience/Education:

  • 1-2 years' experience in a project environment

Preferred Experience:

  • IT project experience preferred
  • Construction project experience a plus

  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment and to think outside of the box
  • Possess a strong drive for success
  • Ability to make independent decisions
  • Flexible and able to embrace change
  • Strong communication skills, especially on the telephone
  • Ability to travel minimally…occasional travel to visit one or two installs
  • Strong computer skills, Word, Excel and excellent organizational skills
