Job Description

The Project Manager will take a leading role ensuring that customer implementations and internal project segments are coordinated correctly through project management including tracking project activities within the project schedule, maintaining document control, and communication among project team members; as well as supporting ad-hoc reporting requests across a matrix organization. This position requires someone with excellent communication skills, both written and oral. As this role is customer facing, this person must be comfortable speaking to customers and coworkers on the phone and face to face. This position will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of projects post-sale.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manages and coordinates all aspects of customer implementation projects or strategic projects.
  • Collaborates with IT and other teams during system deployment, collaborates with developers to perform product customizations and configure the systems to satisfy customers needs.
  • Provides integration support and troubleshooting of the solution, provides solution knowledge transfer and training to other teams.
  • Documents the customer specifications and other related information.
  • Works with the Solutions Engineer in identifying solutions for customer needs.
  • Consistently communicates with customers regarding expectations, clear understanding of the project SOW and deliverables.
  • Monitors progress, resolves problems, troubleshoots and ensures action items and deliverables are met.
  • Coordinates project staff and scheduling to ensure that projects are planned forward, that they do not conflict with each other, and that project tasks are completed within the project schedule.
  • Presents findings/reports to peers and customers.
  • Documents all project steps and details.
  • Develops project reports, presentations, weekly status metrics and communications.
  • Continuous Improvement Assists in driving a continuous improvement strategy within the business to result in an going incremental gains in quality and efficiency.
  • Performs other duties/special projects as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of demonstrated project management experience, preferability in a mobility field.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and work under pressure with ever changing deadlines.
  • A team player attitude.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with and respond to individuals and/or groups both within the organization and outside of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and high volume workload.
  • Strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
  • Related Project Management Certification(s) preferred.
