  • Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in manufacturing
  • PMP Preferred (or working towards)
  • Security Clearance
  • Review/understand blueprints
  • Familiarity with EVM
  • Responsibility for CDRL's

Main Responsibilities:

  • Interfaces with external customers, internal departments, and suppliers to assure that all contract requirements and terms are fulfilled in the required sequence. Assures that all inspections, tests, and data collection is completed as required.
  • Reviews and approves purchase documents to assure compliance with contractual requirements and specifications before submitting to suppliers.
  • Develops estimates and proposals using standard best business practice and Wartsila guidance.
  • Manages Projects to include document review, customer liaison, sourcing, purchasing, and progress determination from start to finish of multiple projects that are going on. Working with all necessary groups to manage customer demands, material availability, and work completion to bring the project to a successful close
