Job Description

Vaco Indianapolis has partnered with a client locasted Northwest Indianapolis to fill a Purchasing Coordinator role.

Job Duties include but not limited to:

  • Enter Orders into system
  • Keep Status of Purchase Orders Current
  • Locate Vendors with Product in Stock
  • Obtain Current Vendor Pricelists & Best Pricing
  • Determine and Meet Minimum Order Amounts to Obtain Free or Reduced Freight
  • Work with Sales to Assist Special Customer Pricing
  • Assist Product Returns
  • Assist with other special projects as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Forward thinking, and efficient at multi-tasking
  • Experience with supporting internal and external customers
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Prior Purchasing experience a plus
