Job Description

Vaco Indianapolis has partnered with a company located NW Indianapolis to fill a contract to hire Purchasing Coordinator.

The Purchasing Coordinator will:
  • Analyze, plan, forecast, and generate purchase orders for the company
  • Coordinate and track materials in various statuses, on order, in-transit, received, in-stock
  • Report on inventory levels; and expedite material movement both internal and external.
  • Monitor the purchasing process to ensure on time delivery and follow up with vendors where shipping delays might be expected.
  • Establish planning and scheduling of products or vendors.
  • Responsible for vendor relationship development and establishing delivery methods supporting customer needs.
  • Assist with accounts payables and receivables.

Requirements:

  • Associates in Accounting required
  • 2-3 years experience
  • Construction, HVAC experience is preferred
