Job Description

Core Job Responsibilities:

The Purchasing and Planning department is responsible for activities related to the procurement of materials, parts, product, supplies and equipment for the company. It is also responsible to track inventory against forecast to manage sets in the field against ordering new product.

The Purchasing and Procurement team must possess the following skills and demonstrate increasing proficiency in each area throughout their career development.

Progressive Job Responsibilities:

Provides support to the Purchasing and Procurement department to understand inventory in the field against customer request and forecasted needs. Monitors inventory at both distributors and hospitals including completing physical counts when needed. Tracks set turns and loaner program to collect inventory when appropriate and invoice late fees when necessary.

  • Processing POs
  • Monitoring inventory levels
  • Analyzing data from Epicor using Excel
  • Processing information in software applications

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years' experience with product portfolio
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Strong database and excel experience
  • Persuasive yet firm customer service demeanor a must
  • Bachelors degree is a plus.
