Job Description

Essential Functions:
  • Participate in the development of and support the company's strategic plans
  • Manage books and financials for public and private real estate entities
  • Review and analyze financial reporting packages
  • Assist in the managing relationships with third parties such as external auditors and banks
  • Analytical review of monthly operating results for public and private real estate entities
  • Develop and manage financial controls in accordance with the company's policies and procedures and Sarbanes Oxley
  • Communicate financial metrics to senior management
  • Ensure appropriate accounting standards, internal controls and compliance measures across all operating groups, subsidiaries
  • Technical accounting research and drafting position memos.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related discipline
  • Minimum of 10 years accounting experience in a senior accounting or financial management role
  • CPA required
  • Big-4 public accounting experience preferred
  • Experience with 1933 and 1934 act filings
  • Real estate experience in corporate and public accounting
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Impeccable analytical and organizational skills
  • Self-motived and self-directed
  • Ability to work closely with senior management
